The Breakfast Toolkit was developed by EFAD along with the University of Applied Sciences for Health Professions Upper Austria, and San Pablo CEU University, with the support of MS Nutrition and Cereal Partners Worldwide. EFAD received an unrestricted educational grant from CPW and CPW did not influence the professional opinion of the dietitians and research teams working on the project or the dietetic content of any materials produced.

Nutrition and Physical Activity in the Elderly

Spinal sarcopenia is a multifactorial disorder associated with atrophy and fatty changes in paraspinal muscles. Interventional studies for spinal sarcopenia are limited. In this particular knowledge transfer article, we aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a combined exercise and nutrition intervention for the treatment of spinal sarcopenia.

Safeguarding celiac disease patients in Europe

EFSA’s scientific experts have investigated the causes of celiac disease and developed a tool for screening proteins in food and food ingredients that might cause symptoms in patients. Such tools could potentially be used in a variety of food safety areas.
